Hotel description

The 4-star Continental Hotel Budapest, opened in 2010, is located on the site of the former Hungarian Bath. The hotel is housed in a state-protected Art Nouveau building. All rooms are decorated in an Art Deco style and have soundproofed windows. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi. The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with LCD satellite TV and an information guide to Budapest's main attractions. The bathroom comes with a shower or bath, hairdryer and toiletries. Includes a minibar, tea / coffee making facilities and a laptop safe. There is a panoramic rooftop terrace with a swimming pool. The wellness center includes a sauna, infrared sauna and hot tub. The fitness room has high-tech cardio and isotonic equipment and a massage room. Gallery Café overlooks the spacious lobby. The café serves traditional coffee such as the Capuchiner with whipped cream and chocolate chips. The Continental's lobby lounge overlooks the courtyard and features live piano music. The Araz Restaurant with a cocktail bar serves Hungarian and French cuisine using 21st century technology. Ordered meals can be served on the courtyard terrace. Every Friday, the hotel organizes a Hungarian Night themed party with a Hungarian buffet, folk dances, music shows and entertainment. A rich breakfast buffet is served daily at the hotel, and a brunch is available on Sundays. Close to the hotel are the historic streets of the Old Jewish Quarter, including Europe's largest Synagogue and Jewish Museum, as well as many restaurants and retro clubs that exude an incomparable experience. The goal of the Continental Hotel Budapest was to create a green oasis in the center of Budapest, where you can relax, have fun and forget the stress and noise of the big city.
