The modern four-star Hotel Thermal is located in the very heart of Karlovy Vary on the banks of the Tepla River, in the immediate vicinity of the spa area, colonnades with medicinal springs and the business center of the city. Not far from the hotel are the Antonín Dvořák Gardens, which delight the guests of the resort with their beauty. The Thermal sanatorium was built in the style of functionalism in 1967-1976 according to the project of Czech architects, the spouses Vera and Vladimir Makhonin. For the construction of the hotel it was necessary to sacrifice the whole Chebska street with the historical buildings of the 19th century. The hotel also includes a unique outdoor heated swimming pool filled with thermal water from the Geyser. Thermal Resort Hotel offers comfortable accommodation in 273 single, double rooms and suites. The hotel rooms with a balcony offer a wonderful view of the resort part of the city. Rooms with French balconies offer an exclusive view of the thermal pool, which sits on a cliff above the city. All rooms have telephone, safe, minibar, central air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The hotel has its own medical base. The new balneological center is located in the main building of the hotel. The guests of the sanatorium can take advantage of various services under one roof. The hotel's restaurant serves international cuisine. It is possible to order breakfast, lunch or dinner to your room. Diet meals and meals for vegetarians are also provided. There are numerous restaurants and shops in the vicinity of the hotel. Every year the Thermal Hotel becomes the center of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
