Built on the grounds of an old sponge cooperative, this newly established hotel is situated on the coast of the small, picturesque island of Krapanj and is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. With its authentic architecture it blends harmoniously into its environment. The hotel is in the centre of the village and is the only one on the island. The islanders are traditionally sponge harvesters and fishermen. The hotel is located about 100 m from the town centre, with its bars and restaurants, 20 minutes from the beach and 7 km from the bus and train stations. This beach hotel, which was built in 2005, comprises a total of 65 beds: 5 suites, 9 double rooms and 9 triple rooms. The owners, lovers of diving, prefer to call the hotel a diving centre, due to its character and its own collection of state-of-the-art diving equipment. The facilities provided by the hotel include air conditioning, an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a souvenir shop, a café, a TV lounge, a bar and an à la carte restaurant. Guests can also make use of the public Internet access, a WLAN access point and laundry and room services. Guests can also use the sheltered car park, which is kept under surveillance and has 50 spaces. All rooms and apartments are equipped with air conditioning, are luxuriously furnished and come with an en suite bath/ shower including a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite TV, Internet access, a minibar, individual heating, a room safe and either a balcony or a terrace. The hotel offers guests use of an indoor pool, a solarium, aqua aerobics classes, 2 saunas with infrared or combined heating, massage services, spa treatments, banana boating, water-skiing, jet-skiing, motor boating, surfing and sailing (some charges may apply). On the beach just around 20 m away sun loungers and parasols can be rented.
