Summer in Bulgaria
How to Book on the Best Terms?
Missing the scent of the Black Sea mingling with the aroma of roses, red wine, and freshly baked banitsa? We sure are! That’s why we invite you to join us in Bulgaria this summer. It will be Join UP!™'s 16th season there, but every year we return with new experiences and discoveries. And, of course, we keep improving our product for you.
Let’s talk about what to expect this summer.
BULGARIA WITH JOIN UP!™
Experience. We’ve been working with Bulgaria since 2010, and in that time, nearly 140,000 tourists have vacationed at local resorts with us. Among them were mothers with babies, groups of adventurous friends, girlfriends on getaways, and grandmothers with grandchildren. So, we can confidently call ourselves experts — we know exactly what suits whom in this beautiful country.
Convenient flight program. Starting from June 4, 2025, we offer flights to Burgas from Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn.
WHY BULGARIA?
Perfect Sea and Beaches
As many as 22 Bulgarian beaches (that’s one-sixth of the total) received the Blue Flag award last season, ensuring cleanliness and eco-friendliness. Plus, the Black Sea here is especially welcoming: during the summer months, it remains calm and has lower salinity than, for example, the Mediterranean or the Atlantic Ocean — making it perfect for a vacation with kids.
Aylyak
This is one of the top reasons to keep coming back to Bulgaria — experiencing "aylyak". This Bulgarian way of life embodies a state of relaxation, peace of mind, and enjoyment of the moment. It’s about letting go of everyday worries and simply savoring nature, time with loved ones, or a quiet moment alone.
Rich History and Culture
Bulgaria is one of Europe's oldest countries (first mentioned in 681 AD) and among the few that have preserved their name since their founding. It was here that the Cyrillic alphabet was created, and the world’s oldest processed gold (around 6,000 years old) was discovered — now showcased in the Varna Archaeological Museum. Not to mention the many treasures and landmarks left behind by the Thracians and even the ancient Greeks.
Adventures in Nature
Paragliding over the Rhodope Mountains or the coastline, rafting on the Struma River, exploring the Devetashka or Magura caves, watching the sunset at Cape Kaliakra with dolphins, camping on the wild Irakli Beach, cycling through the Trigrad Gorge, or taking a ride on the "Tesnolineyka" narrow-gauge railway through the Rhodope Mountains — there’s so much more to experience in Bulgaria!
Rose Festival
Finding the perfect souvenir in Bulgaria is never a problem — the country produces over 70% of the world’s rose oil, a key ingredient in luxury perfumes. Every year, on the first weekend of June, Bulgaria hosts the Rose Festival, featuring parades, dances, and a live demonstration of traditional rose oil extraction. And for an entire month afterward, you can witness millions of roses in full bloom in the Rose Valley. Just imagine the breathtaking beauty and fragrance!
Wellness & SPA
Bulgaria boasts over 500 mineral springs, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 103°C⁵. Healing mud treatments, detox and anti-stress programs, massages, salt rooms, and herbal therapy — it's the perfect place for a rejuvenating retreat for the whole family.
What are you waiting for? Plan a summer of total aylyak with Join UP!™.
